Holy Moley!

Well folks,

It's been a while since I've posted.... We're successfully moved into the new house! Everything is wonderful, trying to find the time to start working on some candle crafts, and stock my shelves with groceries. Things that you need but don't know you need until the time comes and you don't have it. You know like, brown sugar, vanilla, spices, garlic... the usual.

I spent most of the weekend having a garage sale with my mom. Then today was Raft O Rama on Clarklake. If you've never been your missing out. They have a raft parade where some of the pontoons in the area decorate their rafts with a theme. This year was Disney. The kids absolutely LOVED it. It was so cute to see their faces as a Pirate ship and the 101 dalmations went by. Then we went to a chicken dinner that the local Lions club puts on every year. For $7 you get a 1/2 chicken, corn on the cob dipped in melted butter, potato salad and a roll. It was delicious! I even got the little man to eat some chicken (he's had an aversion to meat lately). Now I'm getting ready to go to a meeting at work. Hopefully I can get home in time to get some cleaning done and make a cake for my guys, just because they're good to me and they deserve it! Today is the day

3 days until we are allowed to move and still feel like nothings accomplished. Of course somethings accomplished because we've managed to nearly fill our storage unit already. Hmmm.... wonder how that happens? It happens because people have too much junk! So today is the day that I purge what useless crap we have onto people who think they need it. Hello EBAY and Craigslist!♥ Wish me luck folks and happy bidding! ;D

Soooo unprepared!

It's exactly one week from our big move and I have so much left to do I can't see straight. PLUS, I have no motivation to get it done... I'm excited about the house but Lordy its hot out! Heat,humidity a 3 year old and 40 hours of work plus packing and loading seems to be just too much for me right now. I know, I know... most of you work and take care of your kids everyday without a problem, and you have dinner ready at 6 and a hubby that doesn't do a thing right?! Haha. Really... I must get moving. Kitchen stuff to pack, laundry to be done and many, many toys to throw away! Wish me luck 'cause the boy is gone! Any ideas on working from home? I could use some... seriously!

I could get used to this.....

Well... Welcome! I'm still getting used to this, so please, bear with me as I learn. First and foremost I am a mommy to the most amazing little man in the world. Also,the fiance to a very loving, caring and helpful man. I work full time but am trying to get things figured out to where I can be a full time Mommy : D We're in the process of relocating, which in a way sucks, but will be amazing once we get on our feet again.

I'm creating this to help other mommy's who work and are trying to stay home with their little ones, and to also show everyone the path that I'm taking for the better of my family. I'm going to try and post on a daily basis things that happen around here. We'll be making crafts, baking, living life and taking lots of pictures to show everyone along the way. Hopefully with the support of everyone we can make this a successful trip down the road to a better life.
